Cheap drinks, sandwiches that blew away my expectations(The bread was very fresh and tasty) and background music that seemed to be carefully curated to execute a vibe. I’ll certainly be going back. Well done Joe!

This place is great! I follow the comedy of the owner Joe Derosa, which is how I found out about this place. The decor and the ambiance is great. Chill, vintage vibe. Old school hip hop playing in the background & not loud or overpowering. I definitely did not expect to see Joe Derosa himself tending the bar; but he was. And he was a really cool guy. So respectful, attentive, and gracious. A woman who worked there (sorry I don’t know her name) was also very kind and attentive. The sandwiches they sell are great and I highly recommend trying them all. Extremely reasonable prices and great service. I will definitely be frequenting this establishment.

Friendly staff, great bar and social room. The best sandwich I've had in NYC, just for $8. The bread is baked fresh every day from ancient Italian grains. If I had found it sooner I would have come everyday.

Came down all the way from Kingston, ON, Canada and let me say, I was BLOWN AWAY by how good the food was. I got "The Dad" and I'm a bulbous gentlemen and almost couldn't finish the sandwich. Of course I did and then got "the fat kid" for a take home. To quote the great T-800/ Carl....I'll be back

Husband and I went this past weekend for a quick bite/lunch and we loved it! We’re big fans of the show and wanted to support. Food was great! I had the Beefie and he had the Eastie. Delicious. The vibe in there is awesome! Excellent service, good food, good company, good vibe - go!

Heard about this place listening to the great Anthony Cumia's -- show yesterday. Sounded so good, I immediately booked a flight and flew in from Antarctica. I even decided to stay another month because the sandwiches were that good. I'm also flying my entire family in soon to enjoy them as well. Highly recommend establishment and definitely worth the trip, regardless of the starting point.
